Wow, it’s almost the end…

Ok, one way to make up for lost blogging days….post your “drafts.”
Yeah, I think I’ve posted four or five blogs left on or is it “in” “draft” status. Of course, I believe that most of the were combined in another blog, but as I said in one, “oh well.”

I’m just pleased “TO BE.”.

Now off to read some statistical analyses. Type to you next year. 👽👽👽👽😜

A few of my favourite apps

This is going to be one of my most ambitious blogging attempts EVER. I shall endeavour to list (the easy part) and briefly describe the features (which should be easy too; as all I am going to do is C&P) of a few of my favourite iPhone/iPad apps. Cross your fingers. Ready, let’s go!

Keep in mind that these apps are in no particular order.

Kabaam – Users can create personalized comics using images from their own photo albums.

Photogene2 – The power that comes with Photogene 2 is astounding. There are many, many options, from modifying brightness, exposure, contrast and other attributes to make photos look clearer or in a certain style. Frames and Instagram-esque filters can also be applied, with the ability to take photos with live filtering roses what they’ll look like as the photo is taken. I was quite concerned about what a new app would bring, having bought versions of Photogene for iPhone and iPad, but Photogene for iPhone owners get one of the 3 in-app purchases for free, including the $6 Pro add-on, which adds advanced retouching features and image property editing that aren’t necessary for most users, but are a very nice add-on to have. There are a ton of sharing options, with built-in Twitter image sharing support, Facebook, Flickr, FTP, and Dropbox uploading.

procreate – Procreate might just be the most exciting digital painting app on a
mobile device. We ’ve taken desktop performance, added professional features, built an amazing brush engine and squeezed it all into your iPad. Whether you’re madly sketching concepts or
crafting a detailed illustration, Procreate has everything you need.

Harmonious – Harmonious is a “smart sketchpad” application for both the iPhone and iPad. It uses procedural drawing techniques to transform your simple strokes into more complex “works of art.” But while it’s possible to create a masterpiece doodle in Harmonious, don’t expect it to be easy.

Omnisketch – Instead of standard brushes and pencils, OmniSketch’s brushes use mathematical algorithms to draw patterns which interact with previously drawn lines to produce a cool sketch with detailed effects.

iWatermark – iWatermark is an essential tool for anyone with a digital camera, professionals and beginners or graphic artist. Digitally sign your work/photos/graphic/artwork with iWatermark and claim and maintain the recognition you deserve.

Camera+ – Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or someone who’s barely touched a camera, Camera+ will make you love taking photos. Everybody has a creative side… Camera+ will help bring that creativity out in you, all with a fun, innovative and beautiful design.

And a place to store these creations…

Photo Folder – Organize your photo and video through the real complete folder management application named Photo+Folder HD for iPad (Transfer & Secret). Users are able to safely & conveniently manage hundreds of photos/videos by storing them in their iPad within different folders which are suitable for particular subjects. It gives you strong safety function by setting the ‘Lock’ for the password; ‘Transfer & Backup Mode’ and the passwords by folders. Protect your privacy perfectly by hiding only secret folder with ghost password. This app permits user to write and edit memo on each & every photo & video.

I have more, but switching screens is becoming a pain. But look for…
Mobile Monet
Slow Shutter
Auryn Ink
PhotoLabel (free)

Oh, a heads up. Many of these are free apps. There are a few exceptions. I usually tell people that if I paid for it, it must be a BOOYAKITTY app. (in my opinion at least)

Well, I think I am going to have some leftover Christmas dinner for first meal. 🙂

periodical donations

If you get a lot of magazines at work, consider passing them on before they’re recycled. Schools often use them for collages and art projects and nursing homes, libraries and women’s shelters may also be interested. Just make sure to call and see if they’re welcome before making the drop-off.
