The man of the house pushing a mower may be cliche, but it’s rooted in truth; Dads do love tending to their lawns. Remind him that “yard waste” is an oxymoron – it’s actually a valuable organic resource that should be put back into the soil. Buy him a mulching mower, which has a special blade and enclosed deck that slice up grass clippings (and dried leaves) numerous times before depositing them back deep into the turf, where they decompose in a few days.
